Last Sunday I had tickets to fly to Las Vegas at 7:30 pm. I was to have landed in Vegas at 8:30 pm. I got a hotel room and was to spend a great evening with my husband. That was not in the cards. There was a mechanical issue with the plane and that plane would not be going to Vegas. I was fearful that Allegiant would just cancel the flight and I wouldn’t be able to meet up with my family for the family reunion. Thankfully they found another plane to come and make the flight but they had to bring it in from Vegas. Our flight didn’t leave until nearly 1:00 am and didn’t land in Vegas until 2:00 am. That is 4:00 am Arkansas time. By the time I got to the hotel, I was EXHAUSTED! Thankfully Marty still met me at the airport and we were able to enjoy our much shorter Vegas trip. I am grateful that I was able to fly to the family reunion, but I do hope for a much smoother trip home.
