This morning, I met a friend for breakfast. As I was leaving, my girls shouted after me:

"Have fun!"
"Be good."
"Make right choices."
"Don't forget I love you."
"Remember who you are!"
"Don't do drugs."

And on and on. These are the same things that I tell my girls when they are going out with friends. I often wonder if they pay attention, but I guess they do.

Okay, I'm not sure if it was really lost, but it definately wasn't in my possession. Marty has been bugging me for 45 days to find it, but I just couldn't find the time. I guess I feared that instead of finding it, I'd find myself in debt.

A TAX REFUND

So, you ask why was it lost? I should be happy to have found an extra windfall of money, but I'm actually quite disgusted. I gave the federal and state government an interest free loan. Why do I do that? Why can't I figure out how to get this right. Last year we got a much bigger refund than this year, so we're getting better.

Do you know what I could do with an extra couple hundred dollars every month? I know I'd spend it (or save it) more wisely than Uncle Sam does.
